Nichols and Dimes is located in Elizabethtown Indiana, a small farming community six miles southeast of Columbus. We are situated on our four-acre farm, including our home, (constructed in 1870) which was part of an original 2200 acre farm.

Nichols and Dimes consists of an antique shop, herb house, and fully completed 26x50 foot herb garden. Our latest addition to the herb garden is a 1930's roadside bungalow, which was once a part of a roadside motel on highway 31 in Southern Indiana. It is being restored for use as a potting shed (and playhouse for our grandchildren).

There are plenty of greeters at Nichols and Dimes Antiques and Collectables, like Sadie the horse. And then there's Tillie and Travis, our two goats, (very friendly) as well as a variety of cats which seem to fascinate our young visitors.

Nichols and Dimes Antiques and Collectables was first opened in 1981. I used to go "antiquing" with my mother and was buying at the age of 8 years old. I love antiques and also meeting people who like what I like!

Our products consist of antique furniture, quilts, coverlets, toys, kitchen utensils, pottery, dishes, Christmas items, and books. Take a look around this site. In days to come you will find pictures displaying some of our items. You'll want to visit often because we will be updating regularly!
